Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Dayton, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Ohio run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 amβ8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (937) 291-5402. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 120 reviews, which is a strong result for a japanese in Dayton and suggests consistent service.
Dayton is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dayton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wow I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of a mall food court restaurant! Dragon roll sushi was huge, orange chicken/tofu/fried rice was great. I would definitely eat here again, the hibachi was fast and everything was fresh! I really liked the stir fried cabbage as part of the veggies side with the meals.

This used to be my favorite restaurant to go to for a good , healthy and affordable meal. I've been going for probably a decade. I recently moved to Cincinnati and I was still making the drive up to Dayton pretty often for this teriyaki chicken. The place nearby me just isn't as good.. until now Lately the food just isn't as good. Last time might make me stop going. I got a chicken teriyaki fried rice, 2 chicken and shrimp fried rice. Well apparently they changed food suppliers or something. The fried rice literally looked exactly like the kroger premade stuff. It even tasted like it, and that's not a good thing. The chicken had no teriyaki sauce, maybe it was all absorbed by the new strange rice? Idk what they did but it was terrible. Nobody iny family was able to finish the meal over the next few days. They ended up being trash, when usually we take a few days and finish eating it all. It tasted flavorless and dry. Also it seemed very short on chicken, like half as much a usual. Had to throw away a huge box of just rice I might come again when I feel like I'm willing to risk my money. If they change back to the real fried rice with the cabbage, I'll change this back to a 5 sta

Stopped on Friday evening. Ordered the Spicy Chicken Hibachi and a spicy tuna roll. Enough for 2 to share and have leftovers. The food was made fresh, was piping hot, and the folks working were incredibly kind. This will absolutely be our go to spot for a quick, hot, good meal. (Pic taken after eating a few bitesπ)

Stopped by on my lunch break yesterday to pick up something to go, ordered the chicken soba. It was SO good. Y'all, they have no business throwing down such good food in a quiet little mall food court. Admittedly, I went in with fairly low expectations but they were completely blown away. The chicken was juicy and tender and the noodles had the right texture and just enough oiliness to make them satisfying to slurp down without being too greasy. If I had to make one complaint, I could have used more vegetables, but they were super generous with the protein portion so I definitely feel like I got more than my money's worth. There was so much food I ended up having my leftovers for lunch today, and they reheated really well in a bowl. I WILL be returning.

Honestly, just a good Japanese restaurant. We spent $20 on two, it came with your choice of chicken, fried rice or lo main, & an egg roll! There was no wait and food took no time at all. No complaints, Iβll be back again!
